Boléro is a one-movement orchestral piece by Maurice Ravel (1875–1937). Originally composed as a ballet commissioned by Russian ballerina Ida Rubinstein, the piece, which premiered in 1928, is Ravel’s most famous musical composition.

I’m not sure who played this, and I will include it as soon as I find out. 🙂

  1. Yo la descubrí unos 30 años atrás probablemente o más. Estaba en un cassette (de mis padres) que contenía la banda de sonido de la película "Los unos y los otros"; Jorge Donn la bailaba en una escena de la película. No me canso de escucharla.

  2. Boy, am I glad that copyright claims were there back then. The Legend of Zelda's theme is way better and more epic. I wouldn't get that same courageous/adventurous feeling with this song.

  3. Finely The altalr catch fire secrofise pilgrimage to Jerusalem to hear jehovah final speech witness. About. The pease world empire of israel

  4. Can’t describe what I feel every time I’m hearing it, majestic, beautiful. Can’t get enough of it.???????
God bless Maurice Ravel’s sole for giving us such a gift.

  5. This song is such a treat to listen to. I love Zelda music and I like it so much that I used to study it and the scales of it to try and find a pattern in it so that I could make a song similar to a song you'd hear but unfortunatly I was never able to do it. Ironically by how simple the songs are you'd think writing a song inspired by it would be simple but it's actually not. Most of the scales I've studied and the way the notes are composed it sounds completely original and I never found any music influenced by it to use as reference.

  6. Too bad they couldn't get the rights to use this as the Zelda Theme. I like the one they have now, but can you imagine if they were able to use this song for Ocarina Of Time at the beginning of the game when Young Link first leaves his home? This wouldnt set the tone perfectly for the game.

  7. I was fortunate to be raised on all types of music. Of course I love rock. Beatlemania. I used to let my familiar pick music for the morning. It was always one of two. Beautiful to wake up with this. The way it builds. I don't need lasers or suck thing. I let this in my soul. I do the opposite.

  8. We got it: This could have been the theme of Zelda, but it isn't because of copyright issues. That is really informative and such an unfortunate situation for the creator of Zelda. But just close your lids and enjoy this beautiful and mystical melody that has many many influences from oriental music. I love Ravel's Bolero ❤
